Solargraphy

Alternative Photographic processs

Solargraphy is a unique photographic technique that involves capturing extremely long exposures of the sun's path in the sky. It typically entails using a pinhole camera or a simple lightproof container with a small aperture and a piece of photosensitive paper or film inside. As time passes, the sun's movement across the sky leaves a trace on the light-sensitive surface, resulting in a distinctive and often ethereal image.

For this set of photographs, I scattered a bunch of handmade pinhole cameras in the wild and set two weeks of exposure time. The grainy texture and the captivating traces left by the sun's journey across the sky were so special, I was seriously amazed by the results.
